The Siena show by La Veronal is directed by Marcos Morau, also in charge of the choreography and founder of this dance company. The project takes us to the Italian city and invites us to think about the human body. Siena, moreover, is a journey through the history of Italian art, from the Renaissance to the Contemporary Art. In El Mercat de les Flors’ website, of which La Veronal is an associated company, the Morau’s staging is described as “the constant and absolute need of the human being to contemplate the human being itself”. Morau’s work also uses cinema and literature.
Sensacional’s directors, Eulàlia Ribera and Jordi Colominas, present a completely different show. Imaginart produces a project that invites 18-month-old to 3-year-old children to participate in a space full of audiovisual sensations where images and sounds mix. Dressed in white, children live an extraordinary visual and audio experience, being surprised by projected images and a soundtrack.
