Eight Catalan galleries at 2014 ArtRio International Fair

The 4th edition of ArtRio International Fair will include the participation of eight Catalan galleries established in Barcelona. ADN, Joan Prats, Marc Domènech, Mayoral, Senda, Trama, Polígrafa Obra Gràfica and +R Maserre will be in Rio de Janeiro from September 10 to 14, in a unique event valued both by the artistic scene and the general public. The eight galleries will be at the international fair with the support of the Culture Department, Generalitat de Catalunya.

On Tuesday 22 July, Jordi Sellas, general director for Creation and Cultural Industries, announced the Catalan representation in press conference along with the eight art galleries. During five days, ArtRio, one of the most important worldwide fairs, will attract galleries owners, visitors and artistic agents from all over the world. The event is also a meeting point for long-established galleries owners (AND, Marc Domènech, Mayoral, Senda, Trama, Polígrafa Obra Gràfica and +R Maserre) and young talents who are seeking for their own path, such as Joan Prats gallery. Moreover, the fair will show works by Catalan artists Lluís Lleó and Xavier Escribà, in Marc Domènech gallery, and Anna Malagrida and Yago Hortal, in Senda gallery.
