'Birdsong' (El cant dels ocells) closes the Catalan Avant-Garde season at the ICA, the first ever year-long Catalan cinema season in London. We are delighted that Albert Serra will join us on Friday 18 December to present the film in which the nativity story is retold with the emphasis placed on the Three Wise Kings.

The Department of Spanish and the Institute for Contemporary and Comparative Literature at the University of St Andrews present a Conference on Catalan Narrative 1870 - 2015 with the collaboration of the Institut Ramon Llull from 4 to 6 December.
Visual Arts.  London,  03/12/2015
Somerset House presents Big Bang Data, a major landmark exhibition about the big data explosion of the 21st century, which is radically transforming our lives. The exhibition, first presented in Barcelona and produced by CCCB and Fundación Telefónica, features in London specially commissioned and rarely seen pieces from a variety of international new media artists, including Ryoji Ikeda, James Bridle and Eva and Franco Mattes. The exhibition opens on 3 December and runs until 28 February 2016.

London International Mime Festival promotes and champions contemporary visual theatre from around the world. Two inspiring Catalan artists are featured in the next edition of the festival in January 2016: David Espinosa and Xavier Bobés. They’ll present two unusual pieces, a colossal micro-theatre performance and an intimate photographic show for an audience of five. The festival is supported by the Institut Ramon Llull.
