The Antic Teatre, in conjunction with the Institut Ramon Llull, have presented cav_a, a new international collaboration project that is holding its first edition in Slovenia and aims to strengthen collaboration with European cultural associations and find new circuits for contemporary Catalan theatre and new theatre idioms.
This week New York sees the beginning of an intensive promotional tour of the film Pa Negre (Black Bread), which is being supported by the Institut Ramon Llull. The promotion of Agustí Villaronga's production thus continues, with the aim of becoming an official Oscar nominee.

The Department of Photography and Imaging in the Kanbar Institute of Film and Television at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, in collaboration with the Institut Ramon Llull will host the event Catalan Shots: A Discussion with Joan Fontcuberta and Agustí Torres. Fred Ritchin, professor and associate chair of the Department of Photography and Imaging will moderate the discussion.
On Wednesday 16 November Carnegie Hall in New York will be the setting for the first performance of Il Diavolo by the Catalan composer Jordi Cervelló. It is a work for violin and piano and will be performed by Jesús Reina and Maxim Mogilevsky. The concert is supported by the Institut Ramon Llull.

This Sunday, 13th November, the Museum für Gegenwartskunst Siegen sees the inauguration of the exhibition Antoni Tàpies. Bild, Körper, Pathos, with some fifty works by the artist spanning more than seven decades of creation. The show has received the support of the Institut Ramon Llull.
